In the 17th round Minsk lost to the capital Dynamo. The outcome of the meeting was decided by Ivan Bahar’s goal from a distance in the 26th minute.
Dynamo started the match with the first number – the hosts threatened Sergei Veremko’s goal and had several chances for the goal. However, the missed ball happened in an unexpected way: Ivan Bahar received a heel pass from Olekhnovic and decided to take a long-range shot. The idea resulted in a beautiful ball in the goal of the former team. City tried to create a few chances to restore balance, but the players went to the dressing room with the same score on the scoreboard.
At the beginning of the second half Dynamo tried to increase the advantage, but the danger in the penalty area was interrupted due to Veremko’s reliable actions. Minsk also had a great chance to equalize after a successful selection and one-on-one from Pavel Gorbach, but our striker could not beat the goalkeeper – the team again lets down the implementation in such moments.
From the events of the second half, which is also worth noting, we will highlight the appearance on the pitch of Vladimir Hwaszczynski in the Dynamo, who recently played for the “Citizens”. The forward had the opportunity to distinguish himself or give an assist, but the score remained unchanged until the final whistle. We conceded on the road with a minimum margin.
