In the opening match of the European tournament, FC Minsk proved to be stronger than the guests from Latvia – 3:0. Goals were scored by Kubichnaya, Shmatko and Akaba.

Despite the advantage of the hostesses, it was not easy for them to open the defense of the RFS, but successful standards came to the rescue in this meeting. So, in the 18th minute of the free kick Kubichnaya turned into a ricochet and the first goal, and the penalty kicks in the 58th and 80th minutes performed by Shmatko and Akaba made it possible to bring the game to a major victory.

The statistics were also on the side of “Minsk”, and with a great advantage: the “citizens” struck 24 shots (12 on target), and the opponents never disturbed Voskobovich, who was playing at the goal.
